The 2026 Erasmus+ Sport call for proposals closed on 5 March 2026, attracting strong interest from organisations across Europe and beyond. In total, 3,162 proposals were submitted under the 2026 call. This includes 3,027 applications under the main Erasmus+ Sport call (a 33% increase compared to 2025) and 135 applications under Capacity Building in the field of sport (a 42% increase compared to last year). These figures confirm the growing interest of organisations across Europe and beyond in Erasmus+ Sport funding opportunities. They reflect the continued importance of sport in addressing societal challenges and promoting participation in physical activity.
