CULT Committee continue work on Erasmus+ 2028-2034

The European Parliament’s Committee on Culture and Education (CULT) is continuing its examination of the proposed Erasmus+ programme for 2028–2034, which includes sport alongside education, training and youth. The CULT Committee is scheduled to consider the budgetary assessment of the proposal on 29 September, as Parliament continues its work on the future programme.

The future Erasmus+ programme is also being discussed within the Erasmus+ Coalition, which brings together European organisations from education, youth, training and other sectors. The Coalition broadly advocates for a strong, accessible and adequately funded programme, including continued attention to inclusion and participation. ENGSO is participating in the Coalition’s meetings to contribute the sport perspective and support a common position on the future of Erasmus+. The Coalition’s work on the revision of the Inclusion and Diversity Strategy also focuses on making the programme more accessible and representative, particularly for people with fewer opportunities.
