In 2025, ENGSO will allocate €18,000 in subgrants to its member organisations as part of the Equality & Sport action plan, funded by the EU CERV programme.

The primary goal of these subgrants is to encourage and support European sports organisations in advancing equality through advocacy, education, and awareness-raising initiatives. The plan fosters collaboration between ENGSO’s member organisations and other sports bodies, aiming to create lasting change. This initiative is being implemented in phases, with the collective efforts of all ENGSO bodies and members, led by the ENGSO EWS Committee.

Open call for hosting events

Sport Equality action plan aims to ensure grassroots voluntary based sport movement in EU are called to promote equality, human rights and democratic values for a stronger Europe. Within the framework of this action plan, the European Youth & Sport Platform will be organised.

Open Call for hosting: Training Course on Advocacy, Equality, and Human Rights in Sport

The objective of this call is to select a hosting organisation responsible for co-organising, together with ENGSO and ENGSO Youth, an event titled “European Youth and Sport Platform”. This event will bring together 100 young participants (aged 18–35) from the grassroots sport movement, representing ENGSO members and beyond. The aim is to create a space for learning, exchange and active participation in the development of sport policy at the EU level, with a focus on promoting equality.
