The European Youth Forum Launches the Youth Progress Index 2025
Last week, the European Youth Forum officially launched the Youth Progress Index (YPI) 2025 in Brussels, gathering youth organisations, policymakers, and researchers. The Youth Progress Index 2025 provides a deep dive into the state of young people’s wellbeing, access to rights, and quality of living. It brings together reliable, relevant data to give each country a score on how well different countries meet Basic Human Needs, Foundations of Wellbeing, and Opportunity.
The 2025 edition includes both the global 2025 Youth Progress Index report and a dedicated analysis focused on Youth Rights and Progress Eastern Partnership region, providing valuable insights for advocacy, policy development, and youth-focused initiatives. We encourage members to utilise the reports and the Youth Progress Index 2025 Interactive tool to better understand where progress is being made and where further action is needed to ensure that all young people can thrive. For ENGSO Youth, the YPI’s findings on Wellbeing and Opportunity are essential for strengthening our advocacy for health, inclusion, sustainability and youth rights through sport.
