The European Commission opened its consultation on “A strategic vision for sport in Europe: reinforcing the European Sport Model” on 15 September. From this date, sport stakeholders are invited to share their views on the role of organised sport as a public good and to suggest priorities for future EU sport policy. Contributions can be made through an online questionnaire, available until 8 December, with registration via EU Log-in required.

The feedback collected will form a key part of the Commission’s upcoming Communication on the future of EU sport policy, planned for adoption in late 2026. ENGSO will provide partners with additional details and its own input to the consultation before November.
