The Green Sport Manifesto was launched on 11 September as part of the European Commission’s “SHARE 2.0 Initiative” and its Green Sport Community of Practice. The document is designed to support sport organisations in demonstrating their commitment to sustainability while building a network of engaged actors. It encourages organisations to set up sustainability structures, align strategies with the European Green Deal, track and report progress, exchange knowledge, and make use of green sport tools.

Organisations already working to reduce their environmental impact—or planning to do so—are invited to sign the Manifesto.
