The European Commission plans to publish in 2026 a framework document titled A Strategic Vision for Sport in Europe: Reinforcing the European Sport Model. A consultation process is scheduled ahead of the policy release, enabling organisations, federations, and other sport-sector stakeholders to provide sector-wide perspectives, expected needs, and technical recommendations. The objective of the consultation is to collect input from across Europe to inform future sports-policy directions within the European Union.

ENGSO has already submitted a position paper as a contribution to the consultation. Additional input, including answers to the online questionnaire, will also be submitted by ENGSO. Stakeholders interested in reviewing the position paper for reference or modelling purposes are invited to contact ENGSO directly to request the document. The deadline for submitting your answers is 8 December.
