The European Youth Capital (EYC) programme has reached important milestones. Lviv successfully concluded its year as European Youth Capital 2025, celebrating the achievements and initiatives led by young people. The title has now officially been handed over to Tromsø, European Youth Capital 2026, which will host a year full of youth-led projects, civic engagement, and cultural activities. In addition, Podgorica, Montenegro, has been announced as the European Youth Capital 2028, recognising its vision to empower young people and foster active participation in city life. These transitions highlight the continued momentum across Europe in enabling young people to shape their communities and drive social, cultural, and civic innovation.
