SWB project partner Kabubu organises a focus group on sport participation and mental health among young refugees

As part of the Sport Without Borders project, Kabubu organised a focus group bringing together a panel of people concerned with the issue of sport participation and mental health among young refugees. Refugees, social workers, sports educators, and members of the local community were able to exchange views on topics such as the motivation of young refugees to take part in local sports activities, the barriers that may exist to such participation, and the potential benefits of integrating circus arts into traditional disciplines. This discussion was highly enriching and opened up many perspectives for the continuation of the project
